ในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาคุณครูของเราได้เข้าร่วมงาน Google I/O 2021 ที่พึ่งจัดขึ้นที่ Mountain View ประเทศสหัสรัฐอเมริกา และสรุปเนื้อหางาน สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้ กับเด็กนักเรียนของเรา สำหรับสัปดาห์นี้คุณครูแนะนำน้องๆให้รู้จักกับเทคโนโลยีชาญฉลาดอย่าง Natural Language Understanding จาก Google ที่ใช้ชื่อว่า LaMDA พัฒนาเพื่อให้คอมพิวเตอร์สามารถสื่อสารกับมนุษย์ได้อย่างไร้รอยต่อมากขึ้น และเสมือนมนุษย์มากขึ้น
อีกคลิปที่สร้างความตื่นตาตื่ใจให้กับ BeyondKids ของเราเป็น Project Starline ที่ทางGoogleหวังว่าจะเข้ามาช่วยให้การสื่อสารผ่านวีดีโอในยุค Covid เสมือนจริงมากขึ้น Google ได้พัฒนากระจกที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นจอและให้ภาพ3มิติทำให้ผู้ใช้งานรู้สึกว่ากำลังพูดคุยกับเพื่อนหรือครอบครัวของเค้าอยู่ข้างหน้าทั้งๆที่เป็นการคุยกันผ่านอินเตอร์เน็ต ในคลาสเด็กๆได้พูดคุยเกี่ยวกับ Compression Technology เทคโนโลยีการบีบอัดโดยคงคุณภาพสูงสุดที่เป็นหัวใจในการส่งวีดีโอ และเทคโนโลยีอย่าง Hologram ที่สร้างภาพ 3 มิติให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนคุยกับคนจริงๆ
คุณครูของเราจะพยายามอัพเดทจากงานประชุมด้านเทคโนโลยีจาก Silicon Valley มาคอยเล่าให้น้องๆฟัง
เพื่อหวังว่าเราจะได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการผลักดันน้องๆเป็นพลเมืองสากลแก้ไขปัญหาด้วยนวัตกรรม

📣At Beyond Code Academy, we believe that education is not just about teaching future-proof skills but also inspiring our next generation to be interested in technology.
Last week our instructors attended the Google I/O 2021 conference that was held in Mountain View, California USA and showed some of the highlights inspiring our students. One of the key highlights that were shown during the class was the introduction of LaMDA, the latest development in Natural Language Understanding from Google. LamDa was trained to engage in free-flowing conversation and deliver the experience that is similar to conversing with real humans.
Another project that was introduced during the event was called “Project Startline” Students are impressed by the technology that makes the video calling experience almost like face-to-face conversations through a magic video. Our instructors also took this opportunity to explain to students about compression technology and hologram.
Our Instructor will continue to incorporate content from technology conferences from Silicon Valley into our class room and we hope that our kids are inspired and grow up to be global citizens solving “big” problems with innovation.
